Earth Kingdom whitewashes Fire Nation for Women's MLBB crown, 2-0

The Earthers have officially set their royal kingdom in the Land of Dawn!

Displaying dominant play, the Earth Kingdom pulverized the Fire Nation, 12-5, 14-9, to sit as the new queens of Women's Mobile Legends:Bang Bang (MLBB) during the final match of the Intramurals on October 10, at the ICT building, Isabela State University- City of Ilagan campus.

The Earth Kingdom leaned on its Most Valuable Player (MVP)  "얀나 하." played by sixth man Diana Mae Agustin as Cecilion in game one and Kassandra Mae Corpuz as Yu Zhong in the second match, recording impressive 1-0-10 and 6-0-4 Kill-Death-Assist (KDA) ratios, respectively. 

The Earthers kicked off the game one with an aggressive performance of Francisca "yska" Casalla on Julian and Danica Rose "NAMI シ" Del Rosario on Grock, taking down two from the Fire Nation, enough for them to take the advantage in turret and turtle. 

With 12-2 and 9-0 marks for kills and turrets in favor of the Earth Kingdom, the fire players refused to go down without a fight as Rhea "Ayesha04" Turda's Xborg exploded with double kills and finally shut down Julian, who had registered a monster kill.

The nursing and electrical engineering student-players from the Earth Kingdom shifted their plan to secure the lord through Cecilion instead of forcing a battle inside their opponents' base. 

And the Earth succeeded. As they pressured their foes, the lord finished the Fire Nation's base at 15:44 mark, ending the game 12-5. 

Corpuz of the Earth Kingdom seized her team’s momentum, as she showcased her prowess with Yu Zhong, recording a killing spree within the first four minutes of the second match helping the team to gain a 3k gold lead. 

However, the Fire nation began to light up in the 11-minute mark through Edith of Violie Kate "PRINGLES" Vidania as she registered a mega kill and pulled the team to taste their first lead, 9-8. 

The game turned into a back-and-forth battle but the Earth Kingdom eventually seized control after slaying the lord at the 14:20 mark, enabling an 8-3 split push in turrets. 

With a successful set of Del Rosario's Tigreal in the inner turret at the bottom lane, the Earth team marched to their opponents' base and finally ended the game, 14-9 kills.

Corpuz and Agustin who played the 얀나 하. account both ended up as the MVPs with 6-0-4 KDA for the second game and 1-0-10 in the first duel.

Marksman Romarie Alaman who played as Karrie and Obsidia, said that it was through trust and teamwork that her team captured the championship.

"May tiwala po kami sa isa't-isa at 'yong hindi po nawawala ay 'yong connection at chemistry po namin kahit minsan nag-aaway-away, " she stated.
